The beginning of Mom Pops is a unique, raw, and cute story that was built around family, friends, and good times; around the fire, on the lake, or just hangin' around the house.
One day, while I was enjoying a beer, my son came up and asked what I was drinking and if he could have one. Now we never wanted him to know what beer or alcohol was, so I had to think fast and told him that he couldn't have one because they were my "Mom Pops" and only for Moms and Dads.
After that, it just became the norm to call my beers "Mom Pops," and now our friends and family have adopted the phrase as well. Oh ya, and don't forget the "Dad Pops" either ;).
